Sounds very similar to a great Spanish restaurant here in Boston: Bar Lola. The tapas, paella, and sangria are all amazing!
There's another Spanish restaurant in Boston called Tasca and they have LIVE Flamenco performances to accompany dinner. I truly enjoy discovering all types of international cuisine in my own city...sounds like you're reliving your great experience in Valencia with "a little taste of Spain in Bristol"!
Women always fall for all things spanish! :)
That cafe looks lovely. If it's not too expensive, maybe we could head down when I come and visit. I leave for London on Monday and will call you sometime next week.
You should tell the family story to The Wide Wide World. They are about to take their children on a RTW too.
Looks like a great place for a birthday celebration.
happy Birthday from Spain!
